Sony's new DVM-63HD HD DVC tape offers the highest quality recording media for the consumer or prosumer making the step-up to an HD camcorder. The new DVM63HD Mini DV cassette features AME-II Evaporation Media Technology with high density and high performance Hyper Evaticle IV Magnetic Particles, resulting in enhanced picture clarity with superior image quality. This new Mini DV cassette also realises more stable tape running and playback performance and is excellent for long-term storage. Sony strongly recommends this tape for HDV recording and editing for HDR-FX1 and HDR-HC1.
