Product Description:
The D-Link DUB-AV300 Audio/Video Grabber is a high-speed video-displaying and capturing device that provides a powerful interface between your PC and your analog camera, camcorder or VCR. It allows you to use your analog camera to carry out video conference, video mail, surveillance and periodic or long-time recording from your PC. Using resolutions as high as 720 x 480 pixels, the device converts your analog data and compresses it to MPEG1/2/4 or various other digital data formats. In addition to the video image, audio data from your camcorder/VCR is also captured and converted to a compressed digital format.
High-Speed Connection to PC
The DUB-AV300 employs a built-in hardware MPEG1/2/4 encoder/decoder chip which does the processing of the captured video steam data, providing very high-speed analog-to-digital conversion from your analog camera/camcorder/VCR. The DUB-AV300 interfaces with your Windows PC through a high-speed USB 2.0 port or high-speed USB 2.0 hub. An S-jack and RCA audio/video input are provided for connecting your VHS camcorders and VCRs, allowing your PC's USB bus to take audio/video streams from your analog device.
